Even Six Feet Under Canada Commits to Egalitarianism

It's been said many ways and side ways by many Canadian intellectuals and thoughtful individuals that Canadian pride and nationalism can sometimes ring hollow. There is no profound depth to it. Articles such as this only seem to confirm this suspicion. Imagine, as one person put it in the piece, if this was the United States or Europe?

Canadians are simply an immature society when it comes to its history. Our sense of who we were and are has always been tenuous. I don't see it getting better. Some would argue it's getting worse.

  1. it's really sad that rich country like Canada can't remember leaders and people of historical importance who scarificed their lives to make Canada a better place
