Who Has More Credibility: IDF Or Hamas?

Just a couple of things I want to mention.

During the recent Israel-Hamas showdown, both sides waged a propaganda war. Each presenting facts and pictures - for example, the sides representing IDF and Hamas. If you're predisposed to believe in Israel, a democratic state, then you'll take IDF reports more at heart. If you side with the plight of the Palestinians, then Hamas disclosures will probably confirm any suspicions you may have about Israel.

The thing I don't get is this: I don't know who's worse of the two, but why would anyone think Hamas has any credibility? Their detestable and contemptible methods, excuses aside, are well known.

It's ok to be skeptical about this whole mess but it seems to me Hamas wouldn't stand a chance in front of Judge Judy.

I'll probably get lapidated for what I am about to write: both side is equally unbelievable. Both sides use shameless propaganda and unspeakable methods to achieve their ends. I'm not judge Judy but I send the parties back to back.
However I pity the populations on both sides of the Wall. Palestinians and Jews alike are sacrificial lambs on the altar of their respective politicians waging a proxy Iran/US war.

  2. You won't get lambasted - unless Sean Hannity reads this blog.

I think you're last point is well taken.

Only the left can support folks who send suicide bombers into Israeli malls, schools and restaurantes.
Its very simple,Hamas is a terror group. Israel is a free country defending itself from terror.

    Paul ,
What "unspeakable methods" did the IDF use?

    James,
Shelling schools and hospitals, firing missiles at moving cars on crowded streets, assassinating people are, in my book, despicable methods. Both sides resort to them when it suits their ends. It does not make them more respectable when Israel uses them than when Hamas does it.
As for defense, that's an argument being used by both sides. Who will stop attacking who the first? I guess when enough people on both sides, will get fed up with being exploited by the warmongers and religious bigots of both sides, they will get rid of them. Peace may, just may, then get a chance that it never had in that region over the last 5 000 years.

  7. Yes Paul, but it's Hamas who
fiendishly place weapons in such places. They do so because they can spin it and say to the world they do such things because they're desperate. It's a neat tactic. That's why I think it's Israel who needs to take the high road once and for all.

I don't like answering to "anonymous" it's like talking to a shadow, but I did read that book as well as other ones by Dershowitz. Thanks.

One does not excuse the other. That's why I say both sides exploit their populations to reach political ends.
As for Anonymous, I agree with you Commentator. While at work, when recieving an anonymous denunciation I put it in file 13, if you know what I mean.
