Regrets

Of which I have a few.

But one that stands out for me is never taking my piano lessons seriously when I was a teenager. Four years of lessons and nothing to show for it except the Purina cat food jingo. And they don't even play that anymore.

My sister belts out Chopin and I...forget it.

Man, one always has regrets. I studied piano seriously, I can play, but I regret that I don't play better. The thing is I was a guitarist. But I wanted to be a pianist. Result: I regret I am neither a real pianist nor guitarist.

I very briefly studied violin. The lessons then were 0.25 an hour. After a month, my family could not afford it anymore. I can still sing but I regret that violin. Over the years and moving several times, it decayed beyond repair and I had to part with it.
