Terms I Don't Get

Denialist.

As in "denying" climate change.

Does being a denialist imply a denialist can never have a valid point? If so, doesn't this mean thoughtful debate is discouraged?

Who are the real denialists?

    Denying is not negating.
    To deny: to declare untrue;2 To refuse to recognise or ackowledge;3 to refuse to grant (a request);4 to reject as false (a theory).
    To negate: to deny the existence or truth of;2 To cause to be ineffective or invalid.

    The difference is there. Are you a denyer or a negator?

    Do denialists deny climate change outright? Or do they question if it's man made? Or is it skeptics who think this?
