It's Always About Constitutional Authority

Does Congress have the constitutional authority to involve itself in public health?

The answer is no but the argument goes, and the Democrat (who possesses and awkward sarcastic arrogance) in the video makes clear, society evolves and Americans made the choice to expand government. This is true. Oh, yes, they look like an unruly racist mob, eh?

And what did they mean by the "general welfare" of the people back then?

What the founding fathers were and what we see today may as well be two different nations.

The founding fathers probably knew of the inevitability of government expansion. As societies grow in population, as more territory is used, more representation would be necessary.

At the very least, in step with population growth, the government should expand proportionally and not in excess to it; whatever that ratio that ratio may be.

Are we beyond this point in North America?
