The Khadr's are not my cup of tea but unfortunately they have a Canadian passport and must be treated as such.
Faced with weak evidence all along, the Americans are set to ask Canada take him back and I don't really see how we can refuse - connections to radicalism and terrorism notwithstanding.

Had the then Liberal government asked for his return when he was captured we could have recieved a child soldier still malleable.
ReplyDeleteAfter eight years in detention that child soldier may have turned into a rabid fanatic bent on vengeance as many juveniles imprisonned with adults do.
Wether Liberal or Conservative, nothing to be proud of.
