These people; these sociopaths, destroy lives. I don't believe selling marijuana or simple possession deserves jail time. Sorry. Too often the harsh sentence actually serves to ruin families. Not worth it.
How a civilized society like the United States can be rather barbaric on this issue is beyond me.
Reducing penalties retroactively is a good start. But as long as you have Nurse Ratchet at the helm, it will be an uphill battle.
