Daily Derp: The Great Unhinged #MAGA!

My posts have exploded in the last couple of days. So here's a short Daily Derp

Note: This blog officially limit linking to any publication or broadcaster it considers to have abandoned its journalistic integrity.

Is this fair to competent journalists who do good work? Perhaps but they can always take their services elsewhere. If you associate yourself with dishonest and unprofessional bosses then you have to accept the consequences that may come with it.

Yeah, I'm that pissed.

Onto the daily derp.

Look for progressives to care about executive orders abuses again. They've fallen silent on it since 2008 much like they've turned a blind eye to Obama's wars.

Their concern for EC too rings hollow. How can any sober person not conclude it's more about Hillary losing than holding any deep principled notions of the electoral process?

The electoral college is a balancing act between population size and population density, and state power vs federal power. It only seems archaic cuz the federal govt has gotten so involved with so many local issues, but its not necessarily making your presidential vote any more or less meaningful. Your vote is only a fraction of a fraction, but its a much bigger fraction of the state than the whole country. I don't have any idea how to figure the math out, but it doesn't matter. constitutional republic, constitutional republic, constitutional republic. Direct democracy would be a better way of finding the lowest common denominator I guess, if that's your goal, but that's aiming kinda low, no?

Part of it was backlash against Obama. But not on race RATHER against big government. Obama never missed a chance to push for bigger government. His whole legacy was predicated on being a neo-FDR. And as legislatures run by Democrats pushed this agenda to its limits, it eventually back fired on them. People 'whiplashed' the Democrats for their over reach.

Now Democrats have been kicked out once again. It's hard to tell how Trump will used Federal power where state rights are concerned. I'm guessing since he doesn't seem to hold a pre-existing philosophical position he wants to push for, it may leave him to more conciliatory or less aggressive interventionism in states. This may actually be a good thing.

Does anyone doubt the progressive left with suddenly care about executive orders abuse? Much like I wonder if the anti-war left will rise again as they slept during Obama's (and Hillary's) wars. Their concern for EC reform also rings hollow. I fear it's more about Hillary losing than holding any deep principled notions of the electoral process.

I have an idea. Since Trump is now president I think my idea of bottling cum as an anti-age can really take off. 'Hey, this smells like semen. Yes, because the plant where it's extracted has similar properties to a make semen. This is why they come in other scents including lavender, lemon and rhubarb. The idea that women all over the world will spread it all over their
