The Irony Of Progressive Tactics

Since they're all into calling Trump 'literally' a Nazi or Fascist (I really wish they'd choose one and stick with it but even that's too much for these ignoramuses), here's the skinny on how, as but one example, Germany fell into Nazism.

When the left were acting out violently in the streets beating (and killing Nazis. Remember, Nazism, fascism, communism, socialism are all off-shoots of liberalism that had been obliterated in the early 20th century. It was an ideological civil war if you will) all it accomplished was drive moderates and the indifferent into the arms of Nazis who offered security.

Man's nature is to fall back onto self-preservation in the face of uncertainty. Who knew?

So in constantly marching (the latest being a 'march for science'. Have you ever heard anything so stupid in your life? Yeh, that's how science works. Via identity politics masking as science. Just like how eugenicists projected their racists views onto science, no? Don't you just You Fucken Love Science?) and physically attacking Trump supporters, what do you think is going to happen? Drive still more into Trump's arms.

If progressives via celebrities, mediums in pop culture like comics and media and corporations and businessmen like Steyer all continue this behaviour, 2018 will be a bloodbath. One in which they will have to sing the Song of Roland.

They may *think* they're mobilizing a population but in reality they're virtue signalling to one another as a big fuck you to the vast, silent and powerful majority.

Most sensible people are going to calculate and conclude that Trump, while not perfect, is a way better option than the clowns lecturing people.

After all, it's not Trump supporters smashing up businesses of non-Trump supporters or beating them up. These same rational people do not agree with the hysterics by the left that somehow Trump will take away rights and considers Muslims inferior peoples. That's just nuts and it's an important distinction I think most level-headed people understand.

See. It's comments like this made by Pelosi that are wreaking unnecessary havoc on the 'civil discourse' landscape the left loves to pretend they extoll:

"...It is a hostile appointment. Lovely family, I'm sure. As far as your family is concerned. If you breathe air, drink water, eat food, take medicine or in any other way, interact with the courts, this is a very bad decision. Not committed to Supreme Court precedence."

How profoundly anti-intellectual? Not surprising coming from the mouth of the lady who once said, 'you have to pass it to know what's in it'.

This is the sort of jumbled, unhelpful, gibberish that's contributing to an increasingly degenerate left-wing intellectual ethos.

Or as Williamson at NRO explains (as I have had since the day Obama said):

"It gets very weird: Whatever else can be said of him, Donald Trump is more pro-gay than was Barack Obama when he was elected (Obama, remember, opposed gay marriage, based on, in his words, what "my faith tells me.") But Democrat-affiliated gay groups denounce him as a monster even though he is closer to their position on gay-rights issues than any other man elected president has been. The streets are full of people protesting Trump's attempt to restrict the travel of certain foreigners wishing to visit the United States — but these same people could not be moved when Barack Obama proposed stripping U.S. citizens of their constitutional rights with no trial, charge, or due process, and restricting their travel as part of a secret military-intelligence process. They cheered it, in fact, and said those who opposed this insane plan were soft on terrorism. President Obama went as far as ordering the assassination of U.S. citizens, and the Left became very angry with Chick-fil-A."

He evolved right? This is how they spin it. The funny thing about 'spinning' is it doesn't extend to the people you hate. So if Trump who was to evolve into something they like, they would not accept it. They'd conclude it was cynical for political purposes.

See how it plays?

So forgive me if I not only don't accept their positions but don't respect them. They're not borne out of principles.

No matter how Ellen spins it on her show.

Let's call this movement 'Chuck's Tears' to pick a moment when they all jumped the shark.

Sit back. You're watching the unfolding of a Republican dynasty take root.

And this is not a good thing necessarily.
